Meet the MEVs – Whitney

August 15, 2017

School: Graduate of  Taylor University

Hometown: Marion, Indiana

Career Goal: My career goal is to get my masters degree in international security and human rights so I can someday work for a faith-based NGO that works to meet spiritual/physical needs of people in the world.

What is the best part about working with An Tobar Nua?  The best part of working at An Tobar Nua is doing life and developing friendships with the people I work with and people that come into the cafe. I love living the city-life here in Galway. It’s much different than my rural hometown.

What is your favorite part about living in Galway? I can go walk around and explore, find new places whenever I want. I love being outside, walking along the prom or finding new coffee shops.

What is the most important thing God has shown you during your time with An Tobar Nua? God has been teaching me a lot about servant hood and what it means to be a servant for Christ in the exciting and the mundane.

What’s next? Hopefully grad school in Scotland!
