An Tobar Nua Counseling
The An Tobar Nua Counseling Center is dedicated to bringing healing and support to those seeking wholeness in their lives. We believe that leading full and flourishing lives can require compassionate help from trained experts.
Our Approach
Our team consists of qualified, fully accredited counselors and selected student therapists, who are committed to providing compassionate care that is person-centered. As a Christian organization, our counselors have the freedom to incorporate prayer into sessions.
Donation Based Counseling
At An Tobar Nua, we believe that access to emotional and mental health support should be available to everyone, regardless of financial circumstances. Our counseling service operates on a donation-based model, allowing clients to contribute whatever amount they can afford.
Counseling Supervision
We offer professional supervision to both fully qualified Irish therapists and student therapists pursuing their Irish certification. Supervisors provide guidance, encouragement, and accountability, helping therapists enhance their skills, improve client care, and meet professional accreditation requirements.
Counseling Student Placements
An Tobar Nua is committed to supporting the next generation of counselors. We offer placement opportunities for counseling students who are completing the clinical portion of their training for Irish certification. Students gain hands-on experience within a supportive, structured, and supervised environment.
Mental Health Talks for Students
The An Tobar Nua counseling team offers mental health talks for teenagers in school or youth group settings. These sessions cover topics such as stress management, self-esteem, anxiety, healthy relationships, emotional regulation, and building resilience.
