Nestled in the heart of Galway, An Tobar Nua is more than a Café, it’s a place of hope.  

An Tobar Nua means "The New Well" in Irish. Every day, our team seeks to share the love of Christ through simple but meaningful acts of hospitality, friendship, and conversation.  

We believe hospitality is an important part of community and our mission is to build authentic relationships where the Hope of Christ lives in our daily interactions and service. Our team is proud to serve homemade baked goods and excellent coffee, through Badger and Dodo, an Irish Boutique Coffee Roaster.

Ministry happens here through everyday relationships, where we aim to create a space where people feel seen, valued, and loved

I gave 5 stars cos that’s the standard they provide. The first thing is the staff, the staff are super friendly and very good at their job. The service they provided was great and they were very nice. The food was so delicious and cooked to perfection. Had the south West wrap and is the most delicious wrap I’ve ever had. It has a little heat which is perfect. Every bite carries a delicious taste.

Everyone here is so nice and friendly. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The coffee and cookies are amazing (you HAVE to try the cookies). Food has always been great and so reasonably priced. We love the new outdoor seating area they have. Amazing spot all around.

Lovely spot. We got huge omelettes and nice coffee. Great value for the price. Staff is super nice and helpful 🙂 Also, the gourmet cookies are the best I ever had. I couldn't help myself and took few more takeaway.

A great place to be. Warm, cosy interiors, view of the canal out the windows, friendly people and good food.

Immaculate vibes, great prices, tasty food and friendly staff. Quiet area is perfect to sit down and read. All in all an amazing experience and can't recommend enough.
