An Tobar Nua Café is much more than a cozy coffeshop tucked away on the winding streets of a medieval Irish city. An Tobar Nua (The New Well) is safe place where people from all walks of life chat over a cup of coffee or tea. Christian music and a welcoming staff create an ambiance and a positive atmosphere for young people to hang out and develop friendships with our staff. These friendships pave the way for meaningful relationship and for the An Tobar Nua team to share the Good News simply by living out their faith. The Café serves a variety of inexpensive menu options, coffees, and homemade baked goods, making An Tobar Nua a local favorite amongst young people, adults, and tourists alike!
End of Term & Seasonal Parties
In partnership with our youth outreaches, An Tobar Nua hosts seasonal parties for local secondary students who frequent the Café. The students gather for fun, activities, free food, competitions, raffles and more. This serves as a great opportunity for the An Tobar Nua team to forge friendships with young people.
Game Club
Each afternoon, students gather in the Café for our student game clubs. These clubs provide a chance for our team to invest individually in the lives of young people. Students from different schools and backgrounds find common ground and friendships while playing popular board games. During the summer, the Game Club also hosts students for retro non-violent video games.
Praise Nights
Periodically we gather together to make a joyful noise to the Lord. These nights are a source of encouragement as believers from different denominational backgrounds come together to worship God with one heart.

Live Music Nights
Music is integral to Irish culture! Embracing the culture of our city, the Café periodically hosts live music nights, where musicians and bands from around the world showcase music with a positive Christian message.
