Counseling Center

The An Tobar Nua Counseling Center aims to support and assist people in overcoming life’s challenges as they move towards healing and positive change by eliminating the barrier of costly therapy.

Our services combine sound psychological training within a Christian ethos. This means we view each person to be of great worth and value, with the potential to live life to the full – mind, body, and spirit. Counseling is available to all people from all backgrounds, and we currently offer services to both children and adults. Our specialized therapy for children incorporates therapeutic play in our recently updated facilities.

Our qualified counselors are trained in an integrative therapeutic model that incorporates Psychodynamic, Person Centered, and Cognitive Behavioral therapies. Our fully-accredited counselors are committed to offering up-to-date and relevant therapy, and actively pursue ongoing educational training. We also host continuing education seminars to provide training to other local counselors, as well as community seminars focusing on mental health and coping therapies.

We offer one-on-one counseling in a non-judgmental setting, specializing in general emotional and mental health, substance addiction, family members of substance abuse, anxiety, stress & life crisis, anger management, loss & bereavement, depression, past or present abuse (physical, emotional, or sexual), loss of direction, and relationship difficulties.
